Selfie van de Ziel – Deel II presenteert een nieuwe groep kunstenaars die voorbij de gepolijste façade van sociale media kijken en ruimte maken voor kwetsbaarheid, eigenheid en persoonlijke verhalen. De expositie toont uiteenlopende werken waarin thema’s als identiteit, lichaam, intimiteit en herinnering centraal staan, en nodigt uit om de mens achter het masker te ontmoeten. Deel II biedt een intense en persoonlijke kijkervaring die uitnodigt tot vertraging, reflectie en echte ontmoeting.

In this exhibition, the artists of Broedplaats Helling X present themselves together for the first time. Drawing from their personal archives, they rediscover existing works and bring them together in unexpected combinations, creating new contexts and meanings.

From 15 January, three car installations by Bart Eysink Smeets can be discovered at the NDSM, in which the car serves as a playful symbol of space, movement and use. These works invite visitors to rethink about mobility, use of space and the future of the city with humor and wonder. The opening will take place on Wednesday, January 14, from 5.30—7.30 p.m., starting at Smederijplein.

Schattige babyvoetjes (Cute baby feet) will be on display at the NDSM shipyard from September 26, 2025 and will remain visible at the head of the industrial Y slope for two years. The new text work by artist Lily van der Stokker was developed especially for NDSM.

ART PROGRAMMING BY STICHTING NDSM-WERF AND STICHTIGN KINETISCH NOORD

IN TUNE is an art installation by first-hour NDSM artist Henk Schut. Located in the dock water of the Y-slope, this artwork invites visitors to tune in with their surroundings. This work can be visited continuously and produces sound during the day.
