A Sudden Gust of Wind (after Poly) is a photo exhibition that responds to the aftermath of storm Poly, a severe storm that hit the Netherlands in July 2023, with hurricane-force winds causing widespread destruction. Instead of documenting the event as a news or journalistic report, the series reflects on the damage done to trees.

How do you deal with stress and mental health as a freelancer? This afternoon is about personal stories and an open conversation about stress, workload and preventing burnout. The program starts with the documentary FUEL, in which six young adults candidly share what it feels like to be completely burned out. This is followed by an aftertalk with one of the main characters in the film and Barbara Kok, an expert in the field of stress and burnout.

Students of the Minor Immersive Environments at the University of Amsterdam have been working on an exhibition about their experiments with projection, audio, light and sensors. They also present their self-initiated personal projects.
